Ghazala's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy an additional sewing machine for her stitching school so new students can easily learn sewing arts.

Ghazala's story

Ghazala is a 24-year-old married woman and a mother of three children.

A few years ago, she decided to start a school at her home to teach sewing and meet her household expenditures. Ghazala is an expert in stitching fine clothes, so she decided to teach her arts to girls in her area. She teaches and stitches for the people in her community, and uses the income to support her entire family. In this way, Ghazala is enabling herself to generate more income and spread her skills to others.

Due to lack of funds, however, she is unable to teach every student because she does not have enough sewing machines to practice with.

Ghazala is requesting a loan from BRAC Pakistan to get an additional sewing machine so her students can practice stitching. She is expecting a boost in her earnings, and dreams of expanding her business in the future.
