Floricelda's story

Floricelda lives in the village of Urumba Alto, Tabaconas district, San Ignacio, Peru. Florecelda is 32 years old and is the mother of four children who she supports by the sale of her coffee that she gets from her farmland. The coffee production that she gets, she sells at a coffee cooperative of which her husband is an organized member, getting good prices for the sale of her coffee with organic and fair trade certification.

The plans this close-knit family have are to increase the coffee production and manage to have favorable performance, so she needs to purchase organic soil amendments to maintain organic, sustainable, environmentally-friendly agriculture.

Floricelda is a new borrower with Norandino, she promises to pay off her loan punctually and to continue working with loans which help to improve the living condition of her whole family.
