António's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a mill that will help with food processing at his home and in his community.

António's story

António is 53 years old, an honest man that lives in Ratane and works his 23 acres of land. He produces sesame, maize, beans and cotton with the help of his wife and six children. Besides farming, António is also a cattle herder.

He dreams of one day becoming a great farmer with all the necessary equipment to make his work easier, as well as being able to help other farmers and their families. António hopes to open a store one day to sell his produce and to buy a car that will help with transportation.

António is proud of what he does because he chose to be an agronomist by studying. This field provides food and a better way of living for his family. He also helps the community by selling produce.

He faces challenges such as lack of equipment to plow his land and process his crops and insufficient funds to increase production. With the loan, António would like to purchase a mill to process his maize production, as well as sell this service to the community.
