A loan helped to build a clean sanitation facility at their home to improve access to sanitation for their family.

Umdiyah's story

Good day lenders! Meet one of KSPPS BMI’s clients, Umdiyah, who is 49 years old, married and has three daughters and three sons. Umdiyah is a housewife and stays at home to look after her six children who are all young. Her husband works very hard and has been a public transportation driver in the Tangerang District for ten years. Her husband is the only breadwinner in the family. Their income is barely enough for basic needs. They would like to improve their living conditions and create a happy and healthy life for their kids.

She has asked for a loan of 8,600,000 IDR from KSPPS BMI. This loan will be used to build a clean sanitation facility at their home to improve access to sanitation for their family. Today her family has no access to a toilet in their home and must rely on the river for bathing. Her family income is insufficient to build toilets but Umdiyah will be able to repay the loan received.

She and her family want to live a healthy life with clean sanitation. She is very grateful for the opportunity and wants to thank all lenders.
