A loan helped to buy farm inputs.

Annah's story

Deep in her heart, Anna is a confident woman who is very practical and a loving mom. She owns a parcel of land in Kapsowar. Her motherly love has been enough to show her family that she is willing to work hard to help her children get ahead with excellent values and education.

For more than 10 years, Anna has bred more than one dairy cow and developed her farm. She has been skillfully practicing farming. Because of how much she likes farming, she has even nicknamed one of her cows. By working closer with Juhudi Kilimo, Anna is making progress in her life through the loans that she is obtaining.

Right now, Anna is kindly seeking an emergency loan to buy more farm inputs and increase her farming success. With the loan she will buy quality farm inputs such as seeds and fertilizer that she will use to grow more crops. Being a woman and accessing funds in Kenya, especially around Kapsowar, is very challenging but Anna feels relieved knowing there are institutions such as Kiva that help enterprising women like her.

Anna is always working to improve her family’s living conditions but her biggest dreams are to become independent and support her family by herself, to secure her children’s future and to buy a home. Be part of this single mother's life by lending to her!
