Jocelyn's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy plywood, nails, boat glue and paint for her husband's fishing business and also to buy assorted groceries for her store and dried fish to sell.

Jocelyn's story

Jocelyn is a 55-year-old woman who lives a simple life with her family in the town of Concepcion, Iloilo. She is married and has nine children, seven adults and two dependents. Her husband is a fisherman while Jocelyn runs a sari-sari (variety) store. She has been doing this for more than 30 years.

Now, she is in need of a loan. She will use the money to buy plywood, nails, boat glue and paint that will be used for their fishing business. In this way, her husband could continue his fishing activity and improve his catch. Part of this loan will also be used to buy assorted groceries for her store and dried fish to sell. Precisely, Jocelyn also sells dried fish for additional income.
