Total loan: $975

Nandi Hills, Nandi County, Kenya / Agriculture

Risper's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase farming inputs such as fertilizers and hybrid seeds to use in her farm and improve production so she can use the profits as a single mom to pay tuition fees for her children.

Risper's story

Nothing moves Risper’s heart more than seeing her family happy and satisfied. Risper is a single mom and a middle-aged, inspiring farmer who lives in Nandihills in the Rift valley Province of Kenya. Amidst women of her age, she has been identified as a very hardworking farmer, engaging in mixed farming, dairy, and poultry-keeping.

Risper has supportive children who help her in the daily farm duties. Risper uses the small profits obtained from locally selling milk and eggs to pay for the children's school fees.

The quality of Risper’s crops has dwindled due to the use of poor farm inputs. This has brought about low demand for her crops and has negatively impacted her sales.

Risper is seeking a helping hand to purchase farming inputs such as fertilizers and hybrid seeds to boost the quality of her produce.

Risper is assured of a bumper harvest, which will open new markets for her crops and, subsequently, increase her profits. This will elevate her standard of living as well as that of her beautiful children.
