Mulheres Valentes Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy Yakult [a macrobiotic milk drink], Danone [yogurt products], and to pay suppliers.

Mulheres Valentes Group's story

The Mulheres Valentes [Brave Women] group have been clients of the Banco do Povo Crédito Solidário (BPCS) for five years. They are a close-knit group with a strong will to triumph in life. They work in the Diadema region of São Paulo. Improving their quality of life is their goal. They are renewing their loan and would like the help of investors in order to continue with their progress and the growth of their endeavors.

Maria do Carmo is the leader of the group. She is married and has a child. She sells dairy products in general and has worked door-to-door for more than eight years. She likes what she does and works to help support her household.

Maria do Carmo needs this loan for the purchase of dairy products—Yakult and Danones— and to pay suppliers. The extra income from the loan is going to allow her to buy more products. She currently lives in a rental and has a dream of buying her own house.

Vanuza sells Yakult, Joseane Souza sells cakes, Maria de Lima sells Marmitex [take-out meals], Julhecir is a hair stylist and is going to invest in products, and Jamily sells cosmetics. The group appreciates their investors and are very satisfied with the support they received.
