Maelewano Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add more stock of oranges to sell, and to repair his bicycle.

Maelewano Group's story

Tedy is a 46-year-old married father of 4 school-going children. He is a fruit seller, and he sells oranges. Tedy normally packs his oranges on his bicycle and sells them in the streets. He has been into this business for 10 years. He usually starts his business at 7 in the morning by passing on different streets with his bicycle, and sells oranges up to 6 in the evening. He earns a profit that he uses to cater to his family's needs.

This will be Tedy's 1st loan request from Tujijenge Tanzania. He is applying for this loan to add more stock of oranges to sell, and to repair his bicycle. His dream is to rent a space in the market and sell his oranges, as he wants to stop door-to-door selling in the near future.

Tedy will share this loan with his loan group members of "Maelewano" group.
