Haleema's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy a bull calf to get beef for her husband's butcher shop business to earn more income.

Haleema's story

Haleema is a 27-year-old married woman living with her spouse and five children in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is pictured here with her husband and her baby. Her husband owns a butcher shop, however he earns insufficient income for his family. His daily practice is to buy beef from the market and sell it at his butcher shop.

Recently he spent a huge part of his income to pay utility bills which reduced his purchasing power for new inventory at his butcher shop. Therefore, Haleema has requested a loan from Kiva’s field partner BRAC Pakistan, so that he can buy a bull calf for getting beef for her husband and to earn maximum income for his entire family. Haleema wants to provide higher education to her children. She dreams of providing all the facilities of life to her children.

She is very thankful to Brac Pakistan.
