Brittany's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped design collection prototypes, create more inventory and gain working capital for supplies.
My name Brittany Raji, the owner, and founder of Beauty Impact Accessories. I’m a native of Ferguson, MO who became an entrepreneur at the age of six. My family could not afford to buy a Barbie I wanted, that I had seen on television, so I decided to round up my toys and sell them to the neighborhood kids. In a few hours, I made enough to buy my own doll. Growing up in a single parent home I learned the value of working hard and earning my own money. I started designing and styling in middle school when I designed my dance team color patterns and shirt designs. I LOVE COLOR. My career in fashion retail started at the young age of 16 when I was expelled from school. I developed a specialty in visual merchandising and personal styling. My displays were acknowledged by receiving the Standard of Performance award four months in a row. Later I became the youngest store manager in the field at the age of 17. I worked in the daytime and attended GED night classes. Five years later my family celebrated our first-generation college graduate. I graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, with a degree in Communications, and certification of Public Relations. I started Beauty Impact Accessories in 2015 after my best friend shared beautiful handmade Ankara bag she brought back from Ghana. The following month I visited Nigeria with my husband and fell in love with the beauty of Ankara fashion. I wanted to use beautiful things to impact the world.
