Confiando En Dios 1,2 Group's story

Anita is an enterprising woman who lives in a batey of La Romana, a province of the Dominican Republic. The principal agricultural activity is sugar cane production followed by cattle raising, both the milk and meat. There is a source of tourism business, especially in Isla Saona. The city of La Romana, Altos de Chavón, Isla Catalania and Cumayasa continue to be of importance. It is there where the bateys are found which surround the cane fields, with very impoverished houses, remote from the city and its conveniences.

Anita is a widow and lives with her children in a borrowed house. She is a cooperative and responsible woman. She has as a means of sustenance a small business where she sells different merchandise, with the end of maintaining the cash flow. It is something common in the bateys.

She has been in this business for around 20 years, she dreams of having a vehicle and her own house. With this business, she was able to purchase a plot of land. Anita needs your support to purchase synthetic hair, creams, flip-flops, kettles, and more to maintain her customer base and get new ones.
