Blanca Gioconda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy purple corn and basic goods for her grocery store.

Blanca Gioconda's story

Blanca, 50, has been selling “atol”, a corn-based drink, for 30 years. She also sells tortillas and has a small grocery store in her home. She is married and has six children, three of whom are still dependent and getting an education.

Today Blanca is calling on Kiva and MiCredito in the hopes that she will receive a loan that will allow her to buy more purple corn and boost her atol sales. She also wants to invest in the purchase of basic goods to strengthen her grocery store.

The profits she earns from the loan will be used to pay for the education of her three children.
