Upendo-Kahama Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase his stock of tomatoes, potatoes, yellow bananas, pineapples, mangoes and watermelons.

Upendo-Kahama Group's story

Thomas, who is in his late 20's, is married and has 1 little son. He has been running a fruits stand to support his family; he has been running this business for three years, and is happy that he is able to raise enough profit. He works from 8 am to 10 pm daily, and is able to make a good monthly profit.

This will be Thomas's second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. He used the previous loan to increase genge items, and has paid all his loans successfully.

He used the profit to care for his loving family, paid loan dues, and covered household expenses.

Thomas will use this loan to increase his stock of tomatoes, potatoes, yellow bananas, pineapples, mangoes and watermelons.

He dreams of having a house to live in.

Thomas will share this loan with his loan group "Upendo-Kahama", and will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan.
