Rossana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase corn, firewood, and a large comal [a smooth, flat, griddle] for selling tortillas.

Rossana's story

Rossana is 38 years old, and she studied until the ninth grade. Her husband has a bicycle repair shop, and they have two adolescent children who are studying.

For many years, Rossana has worked as a domestic employee in other people's houses out of the need to support her husband, and she also earns extra income by selling tortillas on the weekends.

Previously, she was supported with two Kiva loans, and she has already finished repaying them. She needs a new loan to purchase corn, firewood, and a large comal [a smooth, flat griddle] for selling tortillas.

Rossana's dream is to have a store in her house. She wants to take good care of her children, and make good use of the profits from her work in order to repay the loan.
