Korpo's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more ingredients that will be used to cook and sell.

Korpo's story

Korpo is 30 years old and hardworking. She is married, and has two children, aged 10 and 14. Both of her children are in school. She never had the opportunity to attend school.

For the past year, Korpo has been selling cooked food, such as fufu, rice, and soup. Korpo transports her goods by car to her business center and sells eight hours per day. She started this business with money given to her by her husband, and learned this trade from her mother. She likes her business because it helps support her.

To increase her business, Korpo applied for a loan with BRAC Liberia. The loan will be used to buy more ingredients that will be used to cook and sell.

Her future plan is to build a house. "Thank you," was her last statement to her lenders.
