A loan helped to buy more rocks to sell.

Jabbeh's story

Meet 36 years old Jabbeh. She is married with 5 children. They live at home while in school.

Jabbeh went to school until 7th grade. She deals in a business where she sells rocks. It's a business she has managed for two years and she describes herself as hard working, kind and a good businesswoman. She started to sell after receiving financial help from her husband and her mother taught her how to sell. She uses a taxi to transport supplies to her business site. She faces no problems with her business. She sells from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.

To increase in business, Jabbeh asked for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner. The loan will be used to buy more rocks to sell in order to generate more profits that will enable her to pay back her loan. She likes her business because she has more customers and it also helps her a lot. She dreams of owning houses with in the future.

Jabbeh says thanks to all lenders around the world.
