Tannura's story

Tannura, age 38, is married and has a secondary education. She is involved in animal husbandry as her family's primary source of income. She began in 1997, and thanks to her hard work, her farm currently has four cows, 54 sheep, and two horses. For the purpose of further developing her farm, Tannura applied to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS) in order to buy cows and sheep with the goal of increasing the number of livestock she owns. Tannura plans to use profits from the loan to buy cows to further develop her farm.
