Nelito's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for two greenhouses that will help him produce more seedlings that are then sold to small farmers.

Nelito's story

31-year-old Nelito is an entrepreneur with 7 years of experience in agriculture and thrives to be a great vegetable supplier for the small farmers. He lives in Vanduzi with his wife and son.

Agriculture to him is a way of life and an opportunity to become a great entrepreneur that contributes to social development.

His future plans include opening a fruit and vegetable house, as well as to see his wife and son through school so that they both get an education just like his parents were able to give him.

Two fully equipped tropicalized greenhouses with drip irrigation will be purchased with the funds, which will enable Nelito to produce seedlings that are sold to small farmers. This helps them produce vegetables with better quality and quantity.

Nelito had to make do with a homemade greenhouse, but is now running out of space as his business grows and more farmers want to buy seedlings from him.

Nelito is enrolled in a program which supports a portion of the investment in equipment. He is searching for financing of approximately the final 15% of the greenhouses' cost in order to leverage the available support.
