Amicable Group's story

Fungirai is 40 years old, married, and blessed with four children. She aspires to be the leading grocery supplier in Stoneridge, where she lives.

Fungirai sells a variety of groceries and cosmetics at her tuck shop. Operating as early as 5:30 am and closing up around 10 pm daily, she performs a variety of tasks which include store-keeping, shelf arrangement, restocking and cleaning of the tuck shop and surrounding environment.

Lately, Fungirai has been unable to provide all the groceries needed by her customers. She and her group members then decided to apply for a loan from Thrive.

The group has three members and is called Amicable. This is their third loan; Fungirai used her previous one to purchase more groceries and cosmetics for her tuck shop.

The ladies of Amicable group are hardworking, ambitious women who look forward to continued business growth.
