Rolando Fernando's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizer, fungicides and materials for his tamarillo crop.

Rolando Fernando's story

Rolando is 35 years old. He was born in the town of Buenos Aires. He only attended school through the first grade. He lived with his parents and 10 siblings. They worked growing naranjilla and tamarillo (South American fruits), and raising cattle. Because their family was large, and their earnings weren't sufficient to survive, Rolando made the decision to leave to look for a better quality of life.

Rolando arrived in Cahausqui two years ago to work as a day laborer. His salary wasn't sufficient to help his family so he decided to start a new business growing tomatoes.

He needs capital to start this business, so he is seeking a loan which he will use to buy poles, organic and chemical fertilizers, and fungicides. His production will allow him to help his family.
