Tarapaca Ii Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase potatoes and oil wholesale.

Tarapaca Ii Group's story

The communal bank “Tarapaca II” will begin its seventh cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Senkata Regional Office. It is made up of eight members and is directed by a governing board of which Wendy is the President.

The loan that they will take out will benefit small-business entrepreneurs of which Wendy is a member. Currently, she has a business selling fast food (salchipapas: fried potatoes with hot dogs). She makes it known that she learned this business through her own initiative many years ago.

The loan that she now will take out will be to increase her capital by purchasing potatoes and oil wholesale which she will acquire from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz, subsequently making and selling them in her sales space.

This form of work allows her to generate resources to support her family economically since she lives in a common-law marriage and has a child.
