Joaquim's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for seeds that will increase his production of cabbage and green beans sold to supermarkets.

Joaquim's story

Joaquim is a 47-year-old man that lives in Sussundenga with his wife and eight children. He started passing down all his knowledge about the business to his children early, since in the future he will take care of the business with them. He produces and sells green beans, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and maize.

With his diverse production, Joaquim is able to provide products to supermarkets in the capital of Manica. He is proud to be a farmer and proud of the business because he is able to provide food for his family. With the funds, he plans on buying seeds for the increase in his production of cabbage and green beans.

Joaquim started farming and thanks to his farming family, he enjoys the activity and enjoys being able to provide nutrition for his clients. He faces challenges such as lack of funds to increase areas of production. He dreams of one day owning a tractor for the preparation of land for production.
