Cinthya Gabriela's story

The city of Portoviejo, known as the city of the royal tamarinds, was affected by the earthquake of April 16, 2016, is located in the Portoviejo River valley. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, greens, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Cinthia got married at 16 years old, and has 2 children, ages 14 and 8. One studies in secondary school and the other in primary school and she is 5 months pregnant. Her spouse is a police officer. They rent a house. Cinthya has had a fast food stand for over 10 years where she makes smoothies, tostadas, and salchipapas [a dish of hot dogs and fried potatoes]. Her work schedule is from 4:00 pm to midnight or later. She has two assistants who help her. She works every day.

With this new loan, she will purchase milk, fruit, disposable items, a blender, chairs, etc. She likes the loans because the interest is low. Her dream is to have her own house and a retail space.
