Kebeh's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more cookies, cold water and juice to sell.

Kebeh's story

Kebeh is 42 years old. She is single with three children ranging in age from 2 through 18 years old. They live at home while attending school. Kebeh went to school until ninth grade. In order to support her children, she deals in a business where she sells cookies, cold water and juice.

Kebeh started to sell with her own earnings and she learned this trade from her mother. She has been in this business for 10 years and she considered herself as a very hardworking businesswoman. She has had no problem with her business. She sells 10 hours each day, Monday through Saturday. She transports goods to her business site by the use of a car. She enjoys selling because sales are fast on a daily basis. She feels proud of her business because it has empowered her life.

Kebeh has asked for a loan facility through BRAC Liberia, Kiva's field partner, to buy more cookies, cold water and juice to sell. In the future she hopes to become a big businesswoman. She wishes to say thanks.
