Grace's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy iron roofing, gravel, rice, flour, noodles and canned foods.

Grace's story

Grace is a 39-year-old woman who is married with five children and lives in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

To earn a living, she has a small general store business selling food items such as rice, noodles, canned foods and flour in her community and at the market. She has been doing this for three years.

She is requesting this loan to help her make improvements to her house so her family can have better living conditions. Grace will use this loan to pay for iron roofing and gravel to help her make improvements to her house.

She will also use part of her loan to pay for rice, flour, noodles and canned foods to increase her supply and assist her in maintaining her general store business.

Grace joined SPBD in 2012 to gain access to financial services for her business.
