Susan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to restock Susan's shop with more bread, flour, soap, sugar and other groceries.

Susan's story

Susan is married and has three children. When asked to describe herself in a word, she said, “Honest.”

Susan has a shop where she sells sugar, bread, flour, soap and other items. Her business is in a good area, and she sells primarily to locals. Fluctuations in price are her biggest challenge in her business.

Susan has applied for a 50,000 KES loan to restock her shop with more groceries. This will be her first loan with Kiva's field partner SMEP Microfinance Bank.
