Heshima Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy beans, sugar, rice, and different types of drinks.

Heshima Group's story

Odette is a client of the micro-finance institution Hekima and a member of the banque villageois "Heshima." She is 52 years old, a widow, and a mother of four children. One of the children is in school, while the other three are already grown.

Odette has sold foodstuffs from her home along a busy town street for 12 years. She started this business with funds she received from her husband.

[With this loan] she is going to buy beans, sugar, rice, and different types of drinks to increase her business and supply her customers with basic goods.

Odette wishes to start raising livestock, buy a piece of land, and educate and feed her children. Finally, she thanks Hekima and their partners for their support to entrepreneurs who lack access to financial services.

As a note--one of the clients in the photo is holding their child.
