Los Emprendedores Group's story

Carmen is 41 years old and is a single mother of 2 children. Her business is a bakery. Her job is done in Quillacollo, a rural zone with a very gentle climate.

Carmen and her children live in a family home (behind, wearing an orange shirt). The need to improve her income pushed her to form a group of entrepreneurs to ask for a loan and improve their businesses, including: selling balls, transport service, selling perfume, selling cakes, beauty salon and selling food. She earns a living in the bakery, she has a small oven where she prepares bread and dough every day, which she places in baskets to sell on foot.

This season is high demand and she needs to increase her income selling greater quantities of bread. The advantage is that she sells all her produce daily, the problem is having the necessary supplies to produce a greater quantity of bread. Her dream is to expand her business, she hopes to improve her income selling a greater quantity of bread. With this loan, she will buy flour, eggs, yeast, milk and other supplies wholesale. It is the first loan that she has received from the institution in the 2 years that she has been doing this work.

It is for these reasons that Carmen is asking for a loan to produce a greater quantity of bread to improve sales and income.
