Cristo Salva 5,6,7,8 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy and sell clothing such as shirts, pants, t-shirts, and skirts, to make the most of the Christmas sales.

Cristo Salva 5,6,7,8 Group's story

Rosa is a woman, 59 years old, who lives in a batey in La Romana, a province of the Dominican Republic. The Bateys are rural zones of houses with families, the majority very poor who support themselves by harvesting sugar cane and with the small businesses which they improvise for the sustenance of their households. They were developed to house the sugar cane refineries with all their families. There are families that have up to three generations who have been living there their whole lives.

Rosa and her husband struggle day to day for a better future. For six years, Rosa has developed a business selling new clothing in a retail space. The loans have allowed her business to grow and her family to advance. This is her loan number 5 with Esperanza.

She dreams of a truck for her business and to be able to educate her children to the best she is able. Others of her dreams are to have her own house, since she lives in a borrowed house, and to travel outside the country.

Rosa needs your support to purchase a variety of new clothing such as shirts, pants, t-shirts, skirts, and more, to stock her business and make the most of the Christmas sales.

The Cristo Salva 5,6,7,8 group thanks you for the support for their economic development.
