Nasreen's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to renovate her husband's restaurant and to buy gram flour, cooking oil and potatoes.

Nasreen's story

Nasreen is a 50-year old married woman who lives with her five children and spouse in the area of Lahore, Pakistan. She is pictured with her husband.

He fries and sells fritters and potato cutlets from his small restaurant, which is situated beside the road. He wants to renovate his restaurant by whitewashing the walls and by purchasing furniture. In addition, he wants to buy sacks of gram flour and potatoes to increase his production and income on a daily basis.

This is the reason Nasreen requested a Kiva loan for her husband's restaurant, so he can renovate his shop and buy gram flour, cooking oil and potato.

Nasreen is very happy after receiving this loan and would be very thankful to Kiva and its field partner for this support.
