Lucila's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for different kinds of fruits (mostly mangoes).

Lucila's story

39-year-old Lucila is a micro-entrepreneur from Taguig City, Philippines. She is married to Ariel, a tricycle driver and they have two children who are still studying. Both of them work hard to provide for the futures of their children. She has a fruit stand and she has been selling different kinds of fruits since 2014. She is glad to know that there are organizations that can help her improve her business.

She would like to acquire a loan that will be used in buying different kinds of fruits (mostly mangoes). The loan that she will borrow will be a big help to her business and she is looking forward to seeing it grow in the coming years because of your help. She hopes that her business will be established and dreams of having a better future.

Lucila is a member of the Center for Community Transformation and meets weekly with her fellowship partners to share her life’s testimony and business experience with her fellowship members. She also draws strength and inspiration from the fellowship and listening to the Word of God. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 20 members. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social relationships among partners, and pay micro-finance loans.
