Tiffani's story

I am a 30 year old single mom with one child. I currently live with my parents so they can help me while I work. I have always loved to make people happy and feel good about themselves. My mother lost 90% of her hair due to Lupus, and I hated to see her struggle with buying a nice wig. One day I asked her if I could try to make her a wig. At the young age of 14 through trial and error I made my mom a wig and it ignited a passion in me! I did my family and friends hair so much they told me I should go to cosmetology school for it. I worked hard and was driven through school and earned my license at 18 years old. Over the years I went to classes, hair shows, and studied my craft to become the best at what I offered. My business is growing and I see positive things in my future. My goal is to be able to provide for myself and my daughter without the help of government assistance or my parents. I also want to own and run a successful salon off my talent and morals. Within the next five years I want to create jobs in my community and give women a chance to do what they love in a nice environment.
