Hussein's story

Greetings from Hussein, a 29-year-old young Syrian, who left his country because of the war that swept through the area causing serious damage. He fled to Lebanon seeking a better livelihood. He now lives in a rented house located in Mount Lebanon. He has been working in a restaurant for a year with the aim of securing his family's needs and improving his standard of living.

For the first time, Hussein is asking for a loan from IBDAA, a Kiva field partner. He requested this loan to improve his house in his country, Syria, in order to obtain a good life for his distant family.

This young man works hard to forget the difficulties of alienation and tries to adapt. He is looking for a promising future. Hussein is a loyal son with good manners. He is an ambitious and humble man full of energy and hope. He has a good reputation among both staff and customers.
