Edina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cereals to sell in her local market.

Edina's story

As Edina says, “Farming is a flourishing occupation.” She started farming nine years ago with an aim of giving her family a better lifestyle.

Today, she has achieved a great milestone in terms of shifting from dairy and poultry business to engaging in trade. Her confidence to experiment with the knowledge that she had gathered when she was young enabled her to take on farming. Over the years, she has realized a tremendous change in her life as a caring mother. Edina earns her income through selling her produce at her village to earn a commission.

Although Edina has been making profits from farming, she has also identified a market for selling cereals. The only big challenge she faces in this endeavor is a lack of funds. She is requesting a loan to buy cereals.

She intends to buy different varieties of cereals, including maize, sorghum, rice, wheat, barley, and millet, to sell in the local market. The market for cereals is never a problem because the demand is always high, and she plans to take advantage of that. Her marketing skills will enable her to be able to attract more customers.

This is not just a loan to Edina; it’s an opportunity you are giving her to elevate her standard of living and eventually take her out of poverty.
