Sonhos I Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy supplies for making foods.

Sonhos I Group's story

The Sonhos I (Dreams I) group has been a customer of Banco do Povo Crédito Solidário (BPCS) for 2 years, and they are asking for the loan to increase their year-end sales. The group is made up of 4 women who live in São Paulo's Mauá community.

Giselda has a bar, and she will buy drinks and snacks to serve her customers. Josefa is visually impaired, and the loan will help her to buy supplies for making the churros (a donut-like pastry) she sells from door to door with her sister, who helps with sales. Stephanie has 2 small babies and works at a snack bar. She will use the loan to refurbish a little.

Fernanda is the group leader. She is married and has one daughter. Her little daughter is getting medical treatment because she has cancer, so so Fernanda works a lot to pay for her daughter's medical treatments and to help with household expenses. Fernanda has a small snack bar where she makes snacks and serves lunch. The loan will help her buy supplies to make foods. In the future, she intends to expand her snack bar to serve more people from the community.
