Alejandro's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fertilizer with the aim of increasing his production and the quality of his coffee.

Alejandro's story

Alejandro lives in village of La Bermeja, in the Tabaconas District, San Ignacio Province, Peru. He is 45 years old and lives with his wife and his three young children.

He is a farmer who has been dedicated to growing and producing coffee for more than twenty years, which has sustained his small family. He is grateful to the Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Norandino for their help and confidence in providing him a loan. He will invest it in the purchase of fertilizer so that he can increase his coffee production and generate more income to meet his family's basic needs.

Alejandro is a new member of the cooperative with good references from other members and residents of the area. He is backed by a recurring member with a good credit history in the cooperative.

This farmer's goal is to save money from the income he receives from his coffee sales so that he can improve his house in his community.
