Abagambakamu Rukizi Group's story

Moses is a prominent maize grower from Rukizi -Katooke subcounty. He is 28 and married with two children who go to school. In the evening after taking care of his farm, he drives a commercial motorcycle to supplement his income. Just like Moses, other group members also do multiple economic activities with a goal of eradicating poverty. They combined to form a group because they believe that "two heads are better than one." Moses is planning to expand his maize farm so that he can increases his supply and improve his income. He has applied for a loan through the group from UGAFODE to enable him pay the owner of the land so that he plants early next year. He is confident that it will yield much returns because the market is readily available. He sends his gratitude to the funders for availing him the funds that will boost his business. Lastly, Moses is very ambitious and hardworking.
