Guljamal's story

Guljamal, 46, is married and has 3 sons and 2 daughters. She has a high school education and makes a living from farming. She has been engaged in farming since 1997. Through her hard work and thanks to her husband's help, Guljamal owns 2 cows, 7 sheep and a horse. She also grows clover on her 1,4-ha plot of land.

Hoping to expand her business and being a regular client of Bai Tushum Bank, Guljamal is requesting a loan of 110,000 KGS to be able to buy some cows and horses to increase her livestock headcount. The profits will allow her to improve her family's well-being and to renovate her home.
