Caroline's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy for rice, noodles, biscuits, canned foods, and salt and sugar for her general store business.

Caroline's story

Caroline is 30 years old and married with one child; she lives in a rural community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island. She owns and operates a small general store business selling food items such as rice, noodles, biscuits, canned foods, and sugar and salt in her community to earn a living. She has been doing this for three years.

Caroline has requested a loan to pay for additional food items to increase her stock capacity to meet her customers’ demands and help her in running her business. She will use her profits to meet her family's daily needs and make improvements to her house, so her family can have better living conditions.

Caroline joined SPBD in 2015 to gain access to financial services for her business.
