Gloria Elizabeth's story

Gloria lives with her two children, they are 12 and 13 years old. Currently, she is separated from her husband and it is she who takes on the primary role of supporting the household. Gloria has as a source of income tending a vegetable sales stand which is located in the municipal market in her community. She learned this type of business thanks to her mother but, since they year 2016, she decided to do it independently.

The advantage that she has with her business is that it is her own, and her disadvantage is that sometimes, because she takes on the family expenses, she is without working capital to invest in her business.

She has asked for a loan to have the financial availability which will allow her to purchase cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, eggplants, broccoli, etc., in bulk to stock her sale of vegetables. In this way, she will offer her customers better service and will meet their demands. In addition, she will have the opportunity to include the sale of other types of products to attract new customers.

Gloria hopes that the investment will be of help to her to have greater sales and income, since in this way she will pay the family expenses and it will back the payment of the acquired debt.

Her objective is to offer her customers quality products to keep their loyalty since in this way she will be able to have financial stability to live in decent conditions with her children.
