Djiguiseme Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables and fruit for resale.

Djiguiseme Group's story

Hawa is a market gardener. She is the one standing in front of the group and holding the vegetables in the photo. She is 36 years old, married, and the mother of three children who all attend school and are aged 8, 10, and 14 years old.

She has been a market gardener for 26 years, growing onions and aubergines all year round. Her husband is a 55-year-old farmer who sells produce to meet his family's needs.

The growing cycle lasts a few months and the produce is sold at the weekly market, which enables Hawa to make a net profit of around 300 000 francs, part of which she uses to strengthen her working capital, and part of which is used to meet the children's needs, notably healthcare and education.

Watering her garden can be a challenge, but she is planning on building a system of canals, so that she can irrigate her plants properly and increase her production.
