Donozio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase corn and beans for trading.

Donozio's story

Donozio, aged 47 years, is married with four children for whom he is responsible. He trades farm produce (i.e. corn, beans and nuts) for a living, which he has done for over twenty years. He buys from local farmers and then re-sells for a profit. His clients include food markets in Mpigi and Kampala district.

His business has realised growth over the years, and he attributes it to the quality of his produce that attracts good prices. He is planning on further expanding his market to other regions, however he needs to increase on his working capital so that he stocks enough produce.

He has, therefore, approached UGAFODE for a loan facility of 1,500,000 UGX to get the supplies. Donozio believes that, with an expanded market, his finances will improve, thus bettering his family's livelihood. He appreciates the funders for the financial empowerment that will transform him economically.
