Evelyn's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more raw ingredients for her barbecue business.

Evelyn's story

All of Evelyn's hard work has paid off as her business is continuously growing. She would like to thank all the Kiva lenders for helping her and trusting her with their previous loans. Evelyn bought all the necessary ingredients for her barbecue business and she was able to cater to more customers. She also earned income that she used to pay her household bills and save for the future. She has had this business for 20 years now.

Once again, Evelyn would like to acquire a loan that she will use to buy more raw ingredients for her barbecue business. She is hoping that she will have a permanent business place since she keeps moving around. She also prays that her children will have a long-lasting business.

Evelyn is a member of the Center for Community Transformation and meets weekly with her fellowship partners to share her life’s testimony and business experiences. She also draws strength and inspiration from the fellowship and listening to the Word of God. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 20 members. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social relationships among partners, and repay microfinance loans.
