A loan helped Compra de funguicidas y cajones para sus frutas.
Luis is a Young entrepreneur of 24. He is also the father of a four year old son and lives in a rented house. He hopes to succeed in agriculture and regularly increases his crops of coffee, squash, hot peppers, and plantains. This is why he gets up at four in the morning to work his squash fields so he can harvest them in three months time. In the meantime, he collects plantains on Thursdays since he has to send them to the fruit market in Lima. There he sells them for 10 or 11 soles a box which earns him a good income. Luis enjoys his agricultural work because it’s work he has done all his life, although lately he has been leaning toward business. His dream is to be a great vender. This is his third loan with MFP and he has proved himself an excellent president of his communal bank. He is well regarded by his fellow bank members. Luis plans to buy fungicides for his squash fields and wooden boxes to transport his plantains in.
