Felisabel's story

Felisabel is a 22-year-old single mother who has a two-year-old child. Her business is knitting wool clothing. She works in ‘Chasquipamapa,’ which is located at the southern edge of the city.

Felisabel and her child live in a rented room. The need to afford her child's expenses motivated her to start her business. She works knitting wool clothing, and she specializes in children's clothing, pants and sweaters. She sells it as a street vendor in busy areas and she also has resale clients. The machine she uses for her work is very worn out and has constant problems that stop the knitting process, causing losses. The advantage is that she has a regular clientele, and the problem is the damaged machine.

Her dream is to open a store selling knits. She wants to knit sweaters to cover her baby's expenses. With this loan, she will buy a knitting machine to replace the damaged one. This is her first loan with the institution in the 6 years she has been working making knit clothing.

For these reasons, Felisabel is seeking a loan to buy a knitting machine for knitting sweaters to cover her baby's expenses.
