Maria Lucia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy clothing and footwear so she can offer new products in her shop.

Maria Lucia's story

María is married and has one child. She lives with her family. She owns a grocery shop which she set up with the help of her husband. She now runs the shop alone from Monday to Sunday, working from 7 am to 6 pm. Her earnings from her business enable her to provide for her family's well-being, as they do not get any financial support from her parents.
She has applied for the loan to have some capital with which to buy clothing and footwear, so she can offer new products in her shop. This will mean that she can build up her stock and serve her customers better. María hopes that the loan will help her to boost her sales and her income and, in turn, allow her to cover the household expenses and pay back her debt.
María's ambition is to improve her family's financial situation and give them a much better lifestyle.
