Glenda Guadalupe's story

The city of Portoviejo, known as the City of the Royal Tamarinds was struck by an earthquake on April 16, 2016. It is located in the Portoviejo River valley and is rich in the production of vegetables, greens and tropical fruits, consumed within the country.

Glenda is 31 years old and is in a common-law relationship. She has three children aged 14, 11 and 1 year old. Two of them study in High school. Her spouse is a merchant in the market.

Glenda sells drinks like beer, soft drinks, water, and a non-alcoholic malt beverage. She sells from her house and has been doing this for four years. She also sells a large variety of sheets. She sells these on credit and collects weekly. Her work hours are from 9 am until midnight Monday to Saturday.

With this new loan she will buy drinks and sheets that she has existing orders to fill. She likes the loans are they are quick and with low interest rates. Her dream is to have a store.
