A loan helped to buy chickens.

Gpf Sop Naby Gae Group's story

This is a group made up of twenty-five (25) women who live in the same village. Their strong social cohesion gave rise to their group in 2015. Their principal activity is raising poultry.

Ndeye Gnima standing at the far right of the photo with her hand raised is the groups' representative. She is 38 years old, married and the mother of four boys. She makes a living raising poultry. In fact with this loan she will buy chickens and the food needed to start and keep them growing. The poultry will be sold from her house as she has a freezer which helps her store them after butchering them.

With her earnings she will be able to pay for her children's schooling, support some of the family's expenses and also save money in order to grow her business. She can also take care of the electricity bill.
