Mercy Del Rosario's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 100 pounds of rice, sugar, waters, sodas, detergents, etc.

Mercy Del Rosario's story

The area Jipijapa is known as the sultan of coffee, the main one being arabica coffee known at a worldwide level. Their typical food is greñoso (a maiz dish), tortillas, tamales, fish buns, and baked beef and pork.
Mercy is 57 years old, she is married, and she has four adult children, three of which are independent and one daughter who is disabled and is under her care. Her husband is retired, and they live in a house they own.
For more than eight years, Mercy has had a store in her house which little by little has been growing, selling rice, tuna, bread, sodas, waters, noodles, etc. Her work schedule is from 8:00 until 20:00, from Monday to Sunday. Her husband helps her when she is busy, although she is always the one who looks after the clients. With his new loan she will buy 100 pounds of rice, sugar, waters, sodas, detergents, etc.
She likes the loans because the payments are every fifteen days. Her dreams is to have a well-stocked large store.
